Dr. Babak Mohajer, MD is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Mohajer graduated Cum Laude from Queens College of New York and went on to receive his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, where he ended his Internal Medicine training as Chief Resident.

Following his residency, Dr. Mohajer served a three-year fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California at Irvine.

Dr. Mohajer joined Gramercy Park Physicians in 2000, where he practices Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Since that time, he has also served as Associate Attending in Medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center.

Currently, Dr. Mohajer is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association. His research has been presented at the Digestive Disease Week Conference and at the annual meeting of the American College of Gastroenterologists, and also has been published in Frontiers of Bioscience. In 2003, Dr. Mohajer received the Outstanding Teacher of Internal Medicine Award from Beth Israel.
