PRACTITIONER PROFILES
 Stanley
L Halprin, M.D.
is a board certified cardiologist and internist, specializing
in non-invasive cardiology. Prior to the inception of the group
in 1987, Dr. Halprin was a solo practitioner in New York City.
In the early 80's, in addition to his private practice, Dr. Halprin
served as a consultant to a major metropolitan provider for corporate
medical services. This position gave him the experience and contacts
to develop the corporate service now offered in the Gramercy Park
Physicians practice.
Dr. Halprin is a graduate of the State University of New York-Downstate
Medical Center, where he received his Doctor of Medicine. He completed
his internship and residency in medicine at Beth Israel Medical
Center in New York City. His cardiovascular fellowship was done
at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he also presently
serves as a Clinical Instructor in Medicine. In addition, he holds
appointments in the Cardiology Divisions at Beth Israel Medical
Center and The Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan.
As a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the
National Board Internal Medicine and in the subspecialty of Cardiovascular
Disease, Dr. Halprin is active in these and a number of professional
associations. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology
and the New York Cardiological Society.
