PRACTITIONER PROFILES
Dr.
Edward M. Brettholz, M.D. has been a part of Gramercy Park
Physicians since 1990. He is a specialist in both Gastroenterology
and Hepatology. He holds board certifications in internal medicine
and gastroenterology.
Dr. Brettholz did his undergraduate work at George Washington
University in Washington D.C., where he went on to complete his
medical school degree. His internship and residency were done
in Los Angeles, California at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles
and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, respectively. His fellowship
in Gastroenterology was completed at the University of California
in Irvine.
He is active in numerous professional organizations including
the American College of Physicians, the American Gastroenterological
Association, the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy,
and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
Dr. Brettholz specializes in a variety of GI disorders including
Hepatitis C, GRED, and inflammatory bowel disease.
